full-time residents

The BiogasPro can process up to 1,000 litres of wastewater every day.  As a guideline, for each person we estimate

  • 50 litres of black (toilet) water per day, and
  • 150 litres of grey water per day.

We recommend that you separate the black and grey water, but the BiogasPro will handle both very well - up to 1,000 litres per day

Please note that our default offering is to use the biogas for cooking.  There are a few applications where we would be happy to specify using the biogas for an alternate use e.g. water heating

Using the digestate

This section will assist us to better understand your overall waste water needs and requirements. Please note that there is not one solution; we will come back to you for additional information if necessary.

If you answer 'Yes' then a comprehensive wastewater treatment system MAY be necessary
