What is biogas?

Biogas is a natural gas comprising about 2/3 methane, 1/3 carbon dioxide and other trace gases such as hydrogen sulphide.  The fossil fuel LP Gas (LPG) is about 60% propane and 40% butane.  They have sufficiently different properties to require different appliances to operate. Biogas however, is compatible with Natural Gas appliances.
